Project Management
Omega Alpha Limited is an ethical consultancy based in Greater London working across the UK and Europe. It provides project management, business analysis and organisational development, change management and ICT reviews and implementation services to not-for-profit organisations including charities, schools and the public sector. It reinvests some of its profits into providing similar services, pro bono, to the wider community.

We like to be fairly organised. We're systems people. Maybe it comes from being interested in science and technology in our younger days. Aim, method, results, conclusion... that sort of thing.
Project management is key to what we do. We wouldn't be able to support so many clients or do so many interesting and varied things without it. So we use it a lot and we do it well.
We 'do' project management i.e. we manage projects for clients. We help design project management frameworks. We support and mentor new project managers. It's not rocket science. It's process backed by communication and thinking. Often we take the role of project leader when someone needs a bit more leadership support and independent thinking.

We have designed project management frameworks (and programme management frameworks) for small, medium and large charities. We have helped connect the dots from the organisational vision to the stuff which happens everyday and the results and benefits organisations need to realise from their projects.
We have provided project management and implementation support for projects as diverse as a group of schools developing and running sustainable cookery clubs to a social care organisation providing ICT in a safe and supportive environment to young people most in need and an international affairs organisation needing a new CRM database.
We have planned, budgeted, risk assessed and built teams around all sorts of projects. Whether technology, children, combinations of the two or just a good old fashioned 'something we need to do to improve things around here and get results' we can probably help.
Recent Project Management and Programme Management
Development and management of the Emerging Scholars' Intervention Programme - designed from an idea, planned, fundraised and launched. Dr Simon Davey is now part time Programme Leader for this Saturday School.
